A 16-year-old is in custody following the arrest of a 15-year-old cohort for their alleged roles into a Rodgers Forge shooting last month during the botched attempted robbery of Mark McKenzie.

On Friday, Sept. 13, officers from the Baltimore County Police Department were called to investigate a reported shooting in the 400 block of Dunkirk Road, leading to the arrests of both teens weeks later.

Investigators say that while probing the incident, detectives determined that the 50-year-old - who remains in an area hospital - remains at the hospital for treatment and evaluation of the injuries sustained during the non-fatal shooting.
